２０２２年度は小説、演劇、思想のセクションごとに、現代ヨーロッパ文学におけるカタストロフィ表象とエコロジーの問題についての資料や文献の収集・整理を行い、さらにそれらの分析を行った。以下セクションごとに見ていく。小説セクション（田尻）：近年文学研究で重みを増している「ポストヒューマニズム」、「人新世」('anthropocene')という概念で20世紀の英語圏文学を読み直す作業を行った。いずれの概念も、人間中心主義を批判し、動植物を含めた自然環境を中心にすえる、エコロジカルな発想に基づいている。ヴァージニア・ウルフ、サミュエル・ベケットから、J・M・クッツェーのような現代作家までを、このような視点から論じた論文を読み込んだ。演劇セクション（堀）：エコロジー思想の担い手、Timothy Morton、 Elizabeth Grosz、 Anna Lowenhaupt Tsing、Catherine Keller等が説く理論に基づいて、ベケットの作品を読み直した。ベケットが描いている周縁的、亡霊的存在は、エコロジー思想のなかで描かれる存在のありかたに呼応する。とくに伝統的白人男性中心主義に抵抗するフェミニスト神学者であるKellerのFeminist Counter-apocalypseという概念は、地球的規模の災害や戦争とどう向き合うべきかを考えるうえで新たな視点を提供している。思想セクション（対馬）： Malone Diesの分析を通して、ベケット作品がいかに人間中心主義の閉鎖性にとらわれることなく、人間と人間世界の外にある生命や事物の世界との共存の可能性を示しているかを明らかにする論文を執筆した（Journal of Beckett Studiesに掲載予定）。また論文集『日常のかたち』においてAll　That Fallにおける日常の問題についての章を執筆した。
