项目摘要

本研究は、ラフカディオ・ハーンの著作に反映された世界の民話・神話および伝承を解明するために、富山大学附属図書館所蔵小泉八雲旧蔵書（通称ヘルン文庫）の書き込み調査を基盤として、国内外各地の現地調査、文献収集を行うことによって、ハーンの著作の歴史的文学的意義を明らかにしようとするものである。令和4年度は、特にフランス語圏に関する著作を中心に書き込み調査を行う。これと並行して、それ以外のヨーロッパ世界の神話や民話、伝承についても調査を行なう。さらに、マルティニークでハーンが行った民話や伝承の取材メモの解析も行う。それらの結果を踏まえて、マルティニークでの現地調査と文献収集を行い、その成果を、マルティニークで開催される予定の国際学会で発表したい。これに加えて、国内では、鳥取・島根の日本海岸を中心に、民話や神話の実態を現地調査して、その成果を国際学会等で発表したい。令和5年度は、令和4年度に得られた成果を踏まえて、ヘルン文庫の関連図書の書き込み調査を中心とした研究をさらに進めると同時に、ハーンのマルティニークにおける取材ノートや作品に反映されている民話や神話あるいは伝承の根源を探求するために、モーリシャスおよびフランスでの現地調査と文献収集を行う。国内においては、熊本、神戸、焼津を中心にその作品に反映された民話・神話について、文献調査および現地調査を行う。令和6年度は、令和4年度および令和5年度に得られた成果を踏まえ、ヘルン文庫の書き込み調査をさらに推進するとともに、それを補完するために、ギリシアおよびアイルランドおよび英国の民話と伝承の現地調査および文献調査を行う。国内調査としては、東京・横浜を中心とした地域の現地調査および文献調査を行い、得られた成果を国際学会等で発表すると同時に論文等の著作物として発表する。

This study is aimed at clarifying the literary significance of the history of Koizumi's works by investigating the works of Koizumi Yakumo (commonly referred to as the "Library") collected by the Affiliated Library of Toyama University, as well as local research and literature collection at home and abroad. In 2004, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a report on the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This is the first time in history that we have seen such a phenomenon. This is the first time I've ever seen a person who's been in a relationship with someone else. The results of the survey were published in the International Academy of Sciences. This is the result of local research, international research, etc. on the Japanese coast of Tottori and Shimane. In 2005, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China issued a report on the work of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China. The works of the National Center for Research, Kumamoto, Kyoto and Yaitsu are reflected in the folk language, mythology, literature research and field research. The results obtained in the year 6, year 4 and year 5 were as follows: (1) the progress of the research on the library,(2) the completion of the research on the library, and (3) the local research on the English language. Domestic research, local research, literature research, international society, etc., as well as papers, etc., are conducted in the center of Tokyo and Yokohama.
