项目摘要

今年度は、プロジェクト初年度にあたり、日本語、英語、ドイツ語、スワヒリ語等のバントゥ諸語における自・他動詞の交替現象を「関与」「経験」の視点から見直し、関連するデータベースの整備を進めた。特に、年度末に開催した研究会では、各言語の分析結果を共有するとともに、経験者主語の文法的ふるまいや経験者項に「不利益」解釈が生じるしくみに関して活発な討論を行い、次年度以降の課題を明らかにすることができた。今泉（日・英語、統括）は、メンバー間の協働体制を調整、研究分担者2名（藤縄、米田）と研究協力者1名（高橋美穂）の4名による共著論文「状態変化動詞と事象の所有―経験主の語彙表示をめぐって―」を2023年3月に完成した（査読を経て、岸本秀樹・臼杵岳・于一楽編『構文形式と語彙情報』に掲載決定）。また、日本語における非意図的使役主を主語に選ぶ構文に不利益解釈が生じるメカニズムについての考察を複数の研究会にて報告した。藤縄（ドイツ語）は、ドイツ語与格構文を対象とする研究を継続した。その結果、再帰的な反使役構文に現れる与格項に対しても、アスペクトの条件が語用論的にでも整えば非意図的使役主読みが付与され得ることを明らかにした。あわせて、同じアスペクト的条件が過去時制の特殊なふるまいにも作用していることを発見し、論文化に向けた作業に着手した。米田（バントゥ諸語）は、ルワンダ、タンザニア、ナミビアで現地調査を行い、それぞれルワンダ語、スワヒリ語、ヘレロ語の存在と所有に関するデータの収集した。またバントゥ諸語研究において長年その位置づけが曖昧であるとされてきた適用形の場所格用法について、イベントの所有の概念を用いることで適用形の他の用法とともに包括的な説明が可能になることを提案した。
