项目摘要

本研究の目的は「非責任性」という概念を意味論的・統語論的観点から明確化することである。2022年度はロシア語の否定命令文における完了体の役割に関するポスター発表を1件行った。ロシア語の否定命令文では通常完了体は許容されないが、非意図的・非責任性の事態に対する場合（例「風邪をひくな」）、完了体が選択される。上記発表では、Copley & Kaganによりロシア語の完了体過去形否定文に対してcausal modelの枠組みで提案された分析を、変更を施しつつ完了体を含む否定命令文に援用した。オリジナルな主張は、完了体過去形否定文では否定は述語により表される出来事や出来事の結果状態に及ぶのに対し、完了体否定命令文では明示化されていない先行状況に及ぶ（例「風邪ひきを引き起こすようなことをしないように」）というものであった。この主張を裏付けるために、肯定極性項目の否定に対する狭いスコープ解釈を挙げたが（例「誰かを傷つけてしまわないように」）、否定が述語自体ではなく先行事態に及ぶことを明示する構文を挙げるなど、より直接的な論拠を提示する余地が残った。また完了体が統語構造と意味表示の上で、何にあたるのか十分明確化することが出来なかった。他に非責任性と表裏の関係にある「意図性」について、日本語のウ・ヨウの検討を通し、意味的・統語的に明確化することを試みた研究発表を1件と、意志を表すウ・ヨウと共通点を持つ推量のダロウを含む疑問文に関する口頭発表を1件行った。これらの発表では、先行研究により提案された「ダロウは話者の信念世界に対する全称量化詞である」という分析を、変更を施しつつウ・ヨウに援用することを試みた。しかし「買い物に行こうか？」は聞き手の返答を求める通常の疑問文として働くのに対し、「雨が降るだろうか？」は基本的には自問として働く、といった違いを十分説明することができなかった。
