项目摘要

本研究では、ドイツ語学習者の発話における「非流暢性」を示す言語現象を学習者の文法知識とインタラクション能力の指標とし、習得段階を包括的に捉え、外国語教育研究および教育現場へ還元することを目指すものである。令和4年度は、学習者言語の非流暢性およびインタラクション能力に関する先行研究を検討し、従来の議論とデータ収集・分析方法を整理、再検討し、これまでに収集・文字化済みのドイツ語学習者のインタビューデータを用いて、学習者の発話にみられる言いなおしと言いよどみの出現箇所を分析した。また並行して、多人数コミュニケーション場面の発話データを収集した。ドイツ語習得については、処理可能性理論に基づく習得段階が広く知られている。ドイツ語の語順は、学習者の第1言語にかかわらず「主語と定動詞の倒置（XVS）」＜「副文における定型後置(V-END)」の順で習得されるとされ、学習者の到達度チェックにも応用されている。一方、本研究で分析対象とした学習者２名の発話からは、V-END習得とされる段階においても、XVSの産出の際に言いなおしや言いよどみ、自己訂正などの現象が多く出現し、非流暢性の出現はV-END産出時よりも多いことが明らかになった。このことから、日本語を母語とする学習者にとっては、副文における定型後置に比べ、XVS構造は産出時の負荷が高く、学習者は発話産出時にモニターや仮説検証を行っていることを示唆していると考えられる。日本語はSOV型の言語であることから、学習者の第一言語との関係も考察する必要があるため、今後、他のコーパスの発話と比べたり、同じくOSV型の韓国語を母語とするドイツ語学習者の発話とも比較検討することが考えられる。研究の途中成果の一部は、国際ドイツ語教員会議（IDT2022、ウィーン、対面とオンラインの併用開催）で発表した。
