项目摘要

本研究の目的は、投資家と会社間そして投資家間の対話が、投資家の期待形成及び株価にどのような影響を与えるかを解明することである。特に、決算説明会・投資家ミーティングにおける発言内容、ソーシャルメディアにおけるコメントなどを使用し、重層的に影響を分析する。本年度は、対話内容の文書起こしデータを使用し、各参加者の質問・意見、それに対する企業側の返答（特に楽観度・悲観度）をデータベース化し、分析を行った。投資家と会社間の対話に関しては、特に対話に多くの時間を費やす米国のAnalyst & Investor day（AI day）に注目した。分析の結果、AI dayにおける対話のトーンは、参加者（特にアナリスト）の業績予想に大きな影響を与えることが分かった。これは、対話の内容が参加者の業績への期待値に影響を与えることの証左となる。さらに、個別の対話毎に、どのように参加者の業績予想に影響を与えたかを分析した。その結果、各参加者の業績予想は、企業のコメントよりも他の参加者のコメントに強く影響されることが分かった。これは、企業と投資家の対話機会が、投資家間の情報交換の場として主に機能しているという、対話の役割について新たな知見を提供するものである。また、並行してソーシャルメディアと通した企業と投資家の対話、投資家同士の情報交換の株価への影響も分析した。その結果、ソーシャルメディアのコンセンサス意見よりも、少数意見（異論）が大きく株価・アナリストの予想を動かすことが分かった。本検証は、先行研究では注目されてこなかった少数派の意見の情報価値にスポットライトを当てたという意味で大きな意義がある。
