本研究は1年目であったが、コロナ禍の影響で取得済の科研が延長を重ねたことによりその研究により多くの時間を費やすことになり、本科研のテーマの進展はほとんど見られなかった。しかし、本科研は研究代表者の博士論文の主題（19世紀前半期におけるアメリカ南部地域内の奴隷取引と奴隷商人の活動について）の延長線上にあるものであり、最終的には博士論文を英語で本として海外の出版社より刊行することが目的である。その前段階として、植民地時代から建国期にかけての奴隷貿易、奴隷制経済の連続性についての理解、また近年の研究動向については把握しておく必要があるため、前科研の研究は本研究に大いに役立つことになる。環大西洋経済圏における貿易の展開と動向は19世紀のアメリカ最大の輸出品であった南部生産の綿花の貿易に決定的な影響力があり、植民地時代からの貿易と経済の連続性・断続性について検討することが可能になる。この長期的な点はアメリカ資本主義の発展を見る上でも重要になる。近年の19世紀アメリカ史を分析する上で欠かせないアメリカ資本主義発達史の視点は近年研究が飛躍的に増えており、経済史的アプローチによる奴隷制分析はその中心にある。しかしながら、国内ではこの領域の研究は決して多くはなく、アメリカでの研究の隆盛を鵜呑みにし、批判的な視点が欠けているように思われる。そのため、今後本科研で国内外での研究会や学会での発信、海外研究者との共同研究などを進めつつ、論考や本の計画を進めていきたい。また、海外で19世紀の奴隷制研究とアメリカ資本主義の発展について研究している研究者を日本に招待してワークショップや研究会を開く計画や、2025年に予定されている国際経済史会議（World Economic History Congress, プラハ開催予定）においてこのテーマでパネルを組み、報告を申請する準備を進めている。

This study aims to increase the impact of scientific research on the development of science and technology. The subject of the doctoral thesis of the representative of this research (slave acquisition and slave trading activities in the southern region in the first half of the 19th century) was discussed on the terminal board, and the final doctoral thesis was published in English by overseas publishing houses. In the early stages of the colonial era, the slave trade, the continuity of slavery, the understanding of recent research trends, the need to grasp, and the research of pre-scientific research. The development trend of trade in the Atlantic Ocean has changed from the largest export in the 19th century to the largest export in the South. The long-term development of capitalism is important. An analysis of the history of capitalism in the 19th century has been made from the perspective of the history of capitalism in recent years. The research in this field in China has been determined by many factors, such as the prosperity of research and critical point of view. In the future, this scientific research will be conducted by domestic and foreign research associations and associations, and overseas researchers will jointly study and discuss this project. Overseas research on slavery in the 19th century, development of capitalism, research in Japan, research conference planning, 2025 World Economic History Congress, preparation for application, and preparation of reports.
