项目摘要

日本経済と産業における中小企業の重要性とますます進展する中小企業の海外展開を踏まえて、中小製造企業を分析対象として、中小製造企業の国際化を通じた成長戦略と競争優位の源泉およびそのダイナミズムを詳解することが本研究課題の目的である。令和４年度（研究期間初年度）は、国際経営論、中小企業論等の関連分野の先行研究を渉猟して、分析フレームワークの構築を試みた。また、日系中小製造企業の国際化の現状を明らかにするために、マレーシア（ペナンおよびクアラルンプール）にて、日系大企業、日系中小企業、現地コンサルティング企業等へ聞き取り調査を実施した。コロナ禍にあって、現地でのビジネス環境が絶えず変化するとともに日本本社とのコミュニケーションが従前と比較して困難な状況下、海外子会社および駐在員の迅速かつ一定程度自立的な意思決定と行動がビジネスの継続ないしは成長に影響を及ぼしたのではないかという仮定を得た。

The importance and progress of SMEs in Japan's economic and industrial development, the overseas development of SMEs, the analysis of SMEs, the internationalization of SMEs, the growth strategy, the source of competitive advantage, and the detailed explanation of SMEs are the objectives of this research project. In 2004 (the first year of the study period), we conducted preliminary research on the related fields of international management theory and small and medium-sized enterprises theory, and conducted preliminary research on the construction and analysis of enterprises. The current situation of internationalization of Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises is clearly described. The investigation of internationalization of Japanese large enterprises, Japanese small and medium-sized enterprises and local enterprises is carried out. In the face of disasters, the local business environment has changed dramatically. In addition, under the relatively difficult situation of our Japanese headquarters and our Japanese headquarters, the rational decision-making and actions of overseas subsidiaries and resident staff who quickly gain a certain degree of independence have been able to influence the growth and growth of our business.
