本研究の目的は、限定合理的な消費者の選択行動の理論化と数理モデルの開発を行い、さらに消費者による選択データを利用して、提案モデルによる実証分析を行うことである。限定合理的な消費者の選択行動のモデル化はマーケティング分野でも、これまで多くの研究がなされてきた。一方、経済学では近年、合理的不注意仮説を用いた経済主体の行動のモデリングや実証分析が注目されるようになってきている。本研究は、近年のこれらの成果を取り込んだ、新しい限定合理的な消費者の選択行動モデルの開発を行い、実証分析による分析をとおして消費者の選択行動についての新しい知見を得ることを目指すものである。さらに限定合理性を考慮した選択行動モデルを用いたマーケティング戦略評価方法の構築を行うことで、マーケティングおよび消費者行動における理論的な貢献も目指す。令和４年度は限定合理性を考慮した選択モデルについて検討を行った。まずは複数の代替案から１つの選択肢を選ぶ多項選択モデルについて、限定合理性を考慮したモデルの検討を行った。モデルの検討のために、消費者の限定合理性と不確実性への対応に関する研究の調査を行った。さらに、離散選択モデル、合理的不注意仮説に関する研究についての調査も行った。この結果、経済学で研究されている合理的不注意仮説は、マーケティングにおける消費者の選択行動のモデル化でも利用可能なこと、さらに応用や発展の可能性が高いこと、最新の研究で導入されつつあることなどが明らかとなった。これらの調査結果をふまえて、限定合理性を考慮した多項選択モデルについて、さらなる検討を行った。
