项目摘要

本研究は，地域創生の核となる地理・経済・統計・情報の文理融合による，高大接続・企業連携を踏まえた実践モデルの構築と検証を行うことをめざしている。2022年度は，高校教育の学習課程の変化を把握するために，主に新課程における地理（「地理総合」6冊）と公民（「公共」12冊）の教科書を対象に記載内容の調査を行った。「地理総合」は，3つの大項目「A地図や地理情報システムで捉える現代世界」，「B国際理解と国際協力」，「C持続可能な地域づくりと私たち」で構成される。実践・演習の内容を比較すると，旧課程「地理A」では地形図の読図に関する分量が大きい一方で，新課程「地理総合」では地形図の読図に加えて，上記大項目Aに関連したウェブGISの活用や探究活動を通しての資料のまとめ方に関する記述が多い。このため教科書によっては，「地理A」では地域調査の単元で資料のまとめ方や作図の方法が説明されていたものが，「地理総合」では別単元で説明され，地域調査の単元では簡単に言及される程度になっているなど，新旧課程で構成の変化に伴う記載内容の変化が認められた。また「公共」については，とりわけ地域経済に関する項目のうち，掲載する教科書が多くなったものの内容を確認した（金子, 2022）。その一つに，「共有地の悲劇」が挙げられる（学習指導要領では「牧草地」と表現されていた項目）。半数以上の出版社が掲載するようになったが，高大接続性は強まったことが確認された。ただし，説明の仕方は文章や図だけのケースと，具体的に数値例を用いたケースとに分かれていた。数値例は四則演算で計算できる平易なモデルであり，自己の利益を追求することで地域全体の利益が減少する恐れがあることを理解できる内容である。これは，地域企業を対象としたフィールドワーク調査を実施する際に，協調性や地域貢献について考えるのに参考になる内容であることが確認された。
