项目摘要
本研究は,三つの密(密閉・密集・密接)を回避し都市にウォーカブルで快適な屋外生活空間の創出を目指し,①駐車場に設置するユニット型パークレットの開発,②そのパークレットに導入可能な緑化ユニットの開発,③温熱環境の改善とアメニティの向上を両立するパークレットの運用方法の検討,を目的としている.以下,R4年度(1年目)の研究実績の概要を列記する.「くまもと 花とみどりの博覧会(2022年4・5月開催)」の参加者として緑の展示状況を視察・調査し,上記の目的③に対応する「都市内に配置する緑と利用者の行動,およびパークレットのあり方」を把握した.続いて,熊本市における2019年から2021年の熱中症による搬送者データを分析し,発生日時,場所,性別,年齢より時間や年代によって件数は異なるが,場所は市街地に偏るわけではなく,市街地内外どこでも搬送者が発生していること,および80代や70代の搬送者が多く高齢者を対象とした対策が必要であることを把握した.ここから市街地に限らず住宅地など様々な場所で道路近傍に設置可能かつ環境調整が可能なパークレットが求められることを確認した.これは上記の目的②と③に対応する.これらの結果より得られた知見をもとに,従来の緑化ユニット型パークレットのデザインを再検討した.その上で,2022年9月に当初【2年目】に予定していた本研究で提案するパークレットを実際の熊本市京町地区の駐車場に設置する社会実験を実施した.同時に実測調査を通してユニット配置による温熱環境の改善効果も把握した.これは上記の目的①に対応する.次年度(2023年度)は,その結果も加えて広域での環境改善効果も数値シミュレーションで評価し,熊本市が掲げる「熊本市 緑の基本計画」への提言も行いたい
