项目摘要

本研究では、話し手の発言をもとに作られた聞き手の発言を対象に解釈を提示する方法を分析、聞き手の解釈及び解釈提示の実態について論じる。2022年度は、先行研究整理、事例分析、さらなる分析対象の模索の点において研究を進めた。1. 先行研究整理：解釈・言い換えに関わる言語学的諸先行研究を、分析理論や分析事例をもとに整理した。言い換え標識(in other words等)後の発話解釈プロセスが表意・推意形成の観点から分析された他、論証的な語用論研究、具体的には議論内で同一話者が行う言い換え前後の関係についての研究が為されていた。そこで、先行研究で列挙された解釈プロセスや言い換え関係の種類を、実際に収集した討論の事例に当てはめて分類した結果、有用性と同時に分類上の課題が明らかになった。2. 共同構築の事例分析と成果発表：会話の共同構築について分析した。共同構築では、1つの文と見做せるような発言を、2人以上で分担し完成・拡張する。日本語の共同構築に特徴的な例として、第二話者が第一話者の発言に続く言葉を一時的に差し挟み第一話者に続きを促す、第一話者の発言内容に続く具体例を第二・第三話者が続けて提示する等、極めて協調的な例が多く見られた。他者が協調的に補完する部分は、統語的に推測しやすい構造、文脈上妥当な内容の具体例の列挙のため、とりわけ第一話者の同意を得やすく、先行発話への理解・同調姿勢を提示しやすい形となっていることが明らかになった。この分析について、相互理解への貢献という点からの議論を国外学会で発表し、協調的な相互行為としての側面は査読付き論文誌で発表した。3. さらなる分析対象の模索：聞き手の発言・反応は、理解提示・円滑会話促進のための自然なもの以外に、特に討論やセラピーなどの会話で恣意的に話し手の発言を操作する事例が多々観察された。そのため、今後はこれらの会話も分析対象とする。
