项目摘要

小中学校教諭の協力を得て健康教育について聴き取りを行った。学校でどのような学びの機会があるか、保健の科目の担当と教材、子どもたちの反応、教える側として心配や困っていることなど現場の声を集めた。単元「思春期のからだの変化」は教えづらく、複数の小学4年の学級がゲストティーチャーを依頼していた。教科書には見開き2頁（計4頁）に豊富な内容が掲載され、専門的な用語も複数登場した。科目間のつながりを示す記載は見当たらず、教科書に書かれている内容を小学4年生が理解できるには「接続」を意識した授業展開が必要であった。このことが担任教諭が苦手意識を持った理由の1つと考えられた。一方で、出前授業後の小学4年生の感想文には、「知ることができたのはよかった」「その時は保健室に行く」「背が低いがこれから伸びる」など、子どもによって心に響いた部分が異なったことが観察された。子どもの発達段階（縦）に合わせ、一般の科目での学習とのつながり（横）を考慮し、どう理解を促せば実生活に役立つ学びとして子どもの「生きる力」を育む授業と出来るのか課題がある。研究協力が得られた自治体で母子保健と学校保健のデータを連結する仕組みについて聴き取りを行った。また、新型コロナウイルス感染症流行下における子どもの生活習慣病増加及び予防についてレビューを行い、第81回日本公衆衛生学会総会で発表した。①令和2年度学校保健統計調査で肥満の増加を認め、②令和2年に小中学生の保護者1千人を対象に実施した調査で「自宅で過ごす時間」が増え、「PCやスマートフォンを見る時間」が増えたなど生活習慣の悪化を認め、③令和3年に全国保険医団体連合会が小中高等学校約5千校の養護教諭を対象に実施した学校健診後治療調査で、要受診者の未受診率の増加を認めた。ポストコロナでは、ネットと共存を図りつつ生活習慣を改善すること、未受診者に対する対応が求められる。
