当年度の研究活動として、当初の予定どおり、2023年3月4日から3月11日まで、ドイツでの研究活動を実施した。具体的には、１）ドイツの学校視察（ドイツの学校教育現場における民主主義教育実践の視察）、２）継承日本語教育の現場での親子を対象とした本質観取（哲学対話）のワークショップの実施、３）ドイツ在住の日本語教師を対象とした、現象学の原理と本質観取の実践に関する講演会および本質観取（哲学対話）のワークショップの３つの活動を展開した。１）の学校視察は、１日目がギムナジウム、２日目が職業訓練学校、３日目が小学校と、現地の研究協力者のコーディネートで３つの種類の学校を訪問した。それぞれ異なる形で民主主義教育を実践しており、当科研の研究課題の一つの柱である「市民性形成のための教育」に関わる示唆を得ることができた。教室での教育活動を見学できただけでなく、現地の教員たちとディスカッションする場も設けてもらい、教育実践の背後にある理念や現地の教育システムについて学ぶことができたという点で、大きな収穫となった。２）の継承日本語教育の現場である継承日本語教室の親子を対象としたワークショップでは、親と子に分かれて本質観取（哲学対話）を実践した。親と子、別々のトピックでの哲学対話を日本語で展開し、複言語環境に生きる親と子の双方の立場から、もっとも彼ら彼女らに関心の深いトピックについて、深いレベルでの哲学対話が可能となった。３）のドイツ在住の日本語教師を対象とした講演およびワークショップでは、哲学領域の研究分担者による現象学の原理の講演と日本語教育分野の研究代表者による日本語教育における本質観取の実践についての講演を午前中に行った。その後２つのグループに分かれて本質観取のワークショップを行うことにより、本質観取の理念と方法を現地の日本語教師達に示し、授業実践についての示唆を提供することができた。

The research activities of the year were carried out from March 4 to March 11, 2023. Democratic education is practiced in different forms, and research topics are one of the pillars of "civic education".
