项目摘要

Vibration suppression of a full automatic washing machine was investigated. Different from the other rotating machinery, the unbalance of a washing machine is extremely large and its direction and magnitude change at every operation. In order to suppress vibration, we tried to apply passive vibration control theory and obtained the following results.First, we obtained a proper theoretical model of a washing machine. Changing parameter values, we executed numerical simulation and investigated the effects of vibration control. We ascertained that the peak of resonances decreased to about from 1/2 to 1/3.Secondly, we investigatd the effects by experiments. A vibration damper was mounted below the cage of washing mashine. Because springs whose stiffness coincides with the most optimal parameter values known by numerical simulation could not obtained, we could not get the same result as the numerical result. However, we could suppress the vibration considerably. It was also clarified that friction has considerable effect to the vibration suppression.Thirdly, we investigated the effect of active vibration control. The idea of this control is that the stiffness of spring is changed by magnet abruptly when the rotor passed the resonance. Numerical simulation was executed. But this research is under investigation now.
