项目摘要

本研究は、小学校図画工作科の教科目標に示される「楽しく豊かな生活」を出発点に、芸術学と教育学とを架橋した「創造的生活学」の構築を目的とするものである。研究の実施にあたっては、研究者・実践者・アーティストの連携に基づく実践コミュニティを形成することにより、理論と実践の両面からアプローチする。2022年度は、岩手県胆沢郡金ケ崎町に所在する「金ケ崎芸術大学校」を研究拠点とし、主に工芸領域を中心とした実践研究に取り組んだ。具体的な手法として、研究協力者との協働のもとに《生活者工房》と称するアートプロジェクトを立ち上げ、漆芸や陶芸のワークショップを行った。その際、工芸教育を「学校教育」「職業教育」「社会教育」の3つの視点から分類した。その上で、生活の延長線上に工芸（生活に使うものをつくること）に関わる場を設えることを目指した工房（本来の意味でのワークショップ）のあり方を検討した。一連の研究成果については、美術科教育学会にて口頭発表を行った。今後、論文としてまとめていく計画である。また、理論研究の観点からは、民衆文化における創造性の位置づけについて、妖怪文化を対象とした研究にも取り組んでいる。現代社会における妖怪文化の創造のされ方に着目した時、その担い手となっているのは、地縁や血縁に基づく従来型の共同体というよりも、興味や関心を共有する人々のゆるやかなつながり（動機縁）を基盤とするコミュニティであることが少なくない。ここには、本研究が掲げる「創造的生活」の一つの現場を見出すこともできるだろう。なお、この研究成果については、法政大学江戸東京文化研究センターにおけるシンポジウムにおいて「妖怪アート」という観点から口頭発表を行い、報告書が刊行された。
