项目摘要

2022（令和４）年度は研究の端緒として、ニュータウン（以下NT）を対象とした健康支援に関する国内研究の文献検討を行った。国内におけるNT住民の健康支援に関する研究動向を概観し、公衆衛生看護学の視点から、住民に必要な支援及び専門職の役割を考察することを目的とした。2022年7月までに報告された研究を対象とした。NTに関する研究は建築学分野において関心が高く、既存の大規模NTの住民生活を評価し、今後の都市計画に活用する方策が検討されていた。特に、高齢者世帯の増加と過疎化に伴う課題について論じられていた。また、郊外丘陵地に造成されることが多いNTにおいては、住民の生活機能とADL維持が重要なことが示唆された。今後、NTを単位とする研究は、地域特性の理解と高齢者支援の両側面から進展すると推測された。公衆衛生看護学分野における研究の意義として、NTを単位として住民生活及び健康リスクを包括的に評価する地域診断の枠組みの検討や、高齢住民の生活を支える自助・共助に係る地域資源の開発であることが示唆された。この結果は2022年度日本公衆衛生看護学会（仙台）にて発表した。次に、地区保健師が捉えているNTの地区特性に関する質的分析に取り組んだ。住民の健康づくりにおいてどのような影響があるのか、地区保健師の視点からNTの地区特性を考察した。NTは旧地区と比較し健康課題がより顕著である点に特徴があり、社会経済的地位やライフスタイルが似ている住民の集積や、類似した建造環境により特徴付けられるNTは、健康課題のリスクと地域づくりにおける強みの両側面を有していることが示唆された。本成果は2023年度東海公衆衛生雑誌第11巻第1号に採択され掲載予定である。
