１年目（2022年度）は、上半期は研究テーマに関連する「琉球弧」「（社会的）包摂」、「離島診療所」などの研究論文・書籍などを収集し、研究テーマや研究計画書などの内容・方法を再検討した。それを受け、研究代表者の所属する大学の研究倫理審査委員会で研究計画の倫理審査を申請中である（令和４年度中には修正などがあり「承認」を得ていない）。また、計画していた小離島診療所（沖縄諸島）への地区踏査・インタビューについては、特に人流の制限の厳しい小離島が対象だったため自粛した。研究代表者と研究分担者の会議についても、メールでのやり取りを行ったが、対面式の集合では開催できなかった。

In the first half of 2022, we reviewed the contents and methods of research papers, books, research proposals, and "Ryukyu Arc","(Social) Package", and "Outlying Islands Clinic".
