本研究の目的は、子宮がんや卵巣がんと診断されて子宮／卵巣摘出術を受けた婦人科がんサバイバーが、直面する様々な出来ごとに対処しながら健全なTransition のプロセスを促進するための、ヨガと認知行動療法を取り入れた心理教育プログラムを構築すること、そして、構築した心理教育プログラムの実行可能性および効果について明らかにすること、である。本研究の計画は、5段階のステップで進める予定である。その5段階のステップとは、①婦人科がんサバイバーへの面接調査、②心理教育プログラム案の作成、③作成したプログラム案の実行可能性の検討、④心理教育プログラム案の修正、⑤修正した心理教育プログラムの効果の検証、である。今年度は、①婦人科がんサバイバーへの面接調査および、②心理教育プログラム案の作成を行った。面接調査は、複数の婦人科がん患者会の協力を得て、患者会のメンバーである婦人科がんサバイバー（20名）を対象に、オンラインもしくは対面形式で行った。研究に参加した婦人科がんサバ―バたちは、自ら積極的に行動してTransition のプロセスをたどっていたが、その道のりは決して平たんなものではなく、婦人科がんの診断および治療を受けたことに対する意味の探求や不安な気持ちへの対処に取り組みながら、日常生活の中で起こる様々な出来ごとに対処していた。このような、面接調査で得られた婦人科がんサバイバーの語りの内容を踏まえて、婦人科がんサバイバーの、Transition を促進するための心理教育プログラムについて検討し、ヨガと認知行動療法を組み合わせた心理教育プログラム案を作成した。
