周産期医療や母子保健に関わる看護職等の協力を得て調査を行っている。3施設での調査を開始した。方法として、わが国の出生コホート研究から得られた知見を紹介するセミナーを約40分実施した。セミナーの前後に、アンケート調査を実施した。セミナーの内容は、本邦および世界の出生コホート研究の紹介、本邦の出生コホート研究から得られたプレコンセプションケア、食生活、母親とパートナーのメンタルヘルス、周産期異常の関連因子、児の先天奇形や神経発達、呼吸器、アレルギー疾患などとの関連についての最新知見である。アンケート調査の主な項目は、1)研究対象者背景：性別、年齢、職種、医療機関等での勤務年数、周産期医療・母子保健に関わった勤務年数、所属する施設の形態、子どもの有無、妊娠の有無、２）出生コホート研究の知識、３）出生コホート研究について、勤務先での関与、４）出生コホート研究に被験者としての参加の有無、５）DOHaD（Development Origin and Health and Deisease）学説の知識の有無、６）出生コホート研究成果情報の認知度、７）出生コホート研究成果情報の入手先、８）セミナーの内容の認知度、９）啓発方法、１０）現場への導入方法、１１）簡易型自記式食事歴法質問票（BDHQ : brief-type self-administered diet history questionnaire）などである。また調査で得られた情報の解析に着手した。
