项目摘要

本年度は本研究課題の最終年度であるため、これまで研究課題で明らかにしてきたことを整理すること、そしてそれに伴う補足的な調査、研究成果発表を行った。研究期間三年間のうち初年次は主に課題（１）［UNESCOや研究機関による学術表象、民俗知識の再生産］を調査対象とし、二年次は課題（２）［現地政府による観光開発と経済政策］を行ってきた。続く三年次である本年は最終的なとりまとめと研究課題（３）［国外華僑による資金提供や文化の流入］を中心に調査、研究活動を進めてきた。１）研究課題（３）［国外華僑による資金提供や文化の流入］に関してこれまで本研究課題は、主たる調査地としている地域、いわゆる「僑郷（華僑の故郷）」と呼ばれる地域から議論をはじめ、僑郷の視点から研究課題を議論してきた。だが今年度は同地から海外へと渡った華僑の側から、調査地である村落と、移住先での華僑ネットワークの状況を探ることを行った。調査から、現地客家社会のなかで華僑同士の婚姻が積極的に行われていること、ひとりの華僑が複数の華僑グループに所属していることなどが明らかになった。２）三年次目の研究成果報告に関して本研究課題である「ポスト近代社会における中間集団としての宗族組織の社会人類学的研究」の中心となる宗族組織に関して、以下三つの局面からその意義を再考する議論を行ってきた。第一に各人の呼称の「社会的住所」としての意義である。これは文化大革命時も失われることのなかった宗族的機能の重要性を示唆するものである。第二に政府機関やメディア報道による文化表象とは全く別の局面で起こる、人々のアクチュアルな「現実」としての民間信仰の問題を議論した。そして第三に土楼というタテモノが宗族組織という社会集団を形成していくという議論を行った。これらを通して社会人類学的な視座から、現代中国における宗族組織がもつ中間集団としての可能性が提示された。

This year, we will conduct research and report the results of our research project.
