项目摘要

本年度は研究課題として設定した阮朝期ベトナムの貨幣および穀物流通の問題について論文を執筆するとともに、国内外の学会において研究成果の総括的な報告を行った。まず国際学会での成果報告では、2015年7月にベトナム・バクニン省で開催された第7回Engaging with Vietnam会議において、“Food Supply in Hue under the Rule of Nguyen Dynasty”と題する発表を行った。この報告は、これまで進めてきた阮朝の漕運制度に関する研究成果を踏まえつつ、19世紀ベトナムにおける穀物流通の構造を首都であるフエを中心に考察したものである。貨幣流通の問題に関しては、2015年8月に京都で開催された第17回World Economic History Congress会議において、“The development of silver economy in nineteenth century Vietnam”と題する報告を行い、19世紀ベトナムにおける銀の問題について研究の暫定的な総括を行った。ついで2016年3月に大阪で開催された国際ワークショップGlobal History Workshop: Globalization from East Asian Perspectivesにおいて、近世ベトナムにおける亜鉛銭登場の意義を、”The Circulation of Small Denomination Currency in Early Modern Vietnam: An Analysis from a Comparative Perspective”として発表した。銭貨流通については、これまでの研究成果を論文としてまとめ、『待兼山論叢』に「19世紀ベトナムの銭貨流通における非制銭の位置づけ」として発表した。
