A technical feasibility study of the manufacturing scale up for Ilika's Solid State Batteries

Ilika is a pioneer in solid state battery technology having developed both miniaturised Stereax solid-state batteries for IIoT and implantable medical devices and Goliath solid state batteries for EV applications and consumer products. Stereax solid state batteries are now being manufactured and are available to the market. Goliath technology is in the developmental phase, but has reached a significant milestone which will be a springboard for further developments. Goliath cells are currently produced at Ilika's pre pilot line in the UK.Comau has extensive expertise in experience in developing volume manufacturing solutions for many industries including the EV industry, and recently completed the design and installation of two battery manufacturing lines at the UKBIC.Ilika and Comau will work closely together to deliver a scale up Manufacturing Study for Ilika's Goliath technology including a design plan, to enable Ilika to take the next step on its technology roadmap and to commence scale manufacturing.
