Measuring progress of children with autism using social skills app

Autsera develops smart educational apps to help autistic children improve their social communication skills. Our social skills training app, EmoGami, focuses on helping children understand other people's emotions. It includes an integral progress tracking module that enables parents and teachers to track children's progress.User feedback indicated that the progress tracking module did not provide an accurate and easy-to-understand measure of a child's progress. This problem is reducing the value and use of EmoGami, and the competitiveness of Autsera.This project, delivered in partnership with the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), addresses this problem by building a bespoke statistical model that accounts for the multitude of children's abilities and the progress they make while using EmoGami, and displaying the results on a user-friendly dashboard.
