英文摘要
Our team has developed a novel, environmentally friendly technology that can be used for milling, mixing, and pulverising solid materials. This technology is based on a technique known as ball-milling, an automated version of a mortar and pestle, and used by scientists in industrial and academic settings for a plethora of applications such as pharmaceutical formulation research, synthesis of new chemical compounds, development of new battery components, and moreOur team has developed a novel bespoke ball mill that aims to solve multiple problems associated with existing devices on the market. These include low throughput capabilities, lack of adequate temperature control, restricted milling speeds, large footprint, and subpar safety characteristics. Our device not only alleviates these problems but also provides additional features, such as remote-control capabilities and tools that allow the user to monitor the condition of their sample in real-time.
