项目摘要
PROJECT SUMMARY
The Stanford Institute for Immunity, Transplantation, and Infection (ITI) has a robust track record of
Administrative Core success within NIH-sponsored projects in regard to leadership and coordination of center
activities, management of finances and resources, and facilitation of intra-center collaboration and scientific
support. The success of the proposed center here will rely upon the success of its Administrative Core. Dr. Mark
Davis, who has extensive experience managing large consortia with numerous projects, cores, and investigators,
will be Core Lead of the Administrative Core in addition to his role as center PD/PI. He will share his primary
responsibilities in this role with Dr. Shai Shen-Orr, and they will be assisted by Drs. Kari Nadeau and Holden
Maecker. In their capacities as project and core leaders, they will be responsible for the overall organization,
management, decision-making, and periodic evaluations within this center. In addition, they will oversee resource
allocation, protection of intellectual property in conjunction with Stanford’s Office of Technology Licensing and
the Technion’s T3 Commercial Unit, and the involvement of other institutional resources. Dr. Robert M. DiFazio,
director of ITI’s Office of Strategy and Research Development, will commit the resources of his office along with
Ms. Michele King to monitor overall progress, provide support to the administrative leadership team, and
coordinate center activities and collaboration. They will be joined by Dr. Molly Miranda, who will oversee data
sharing and upload of data to ImmPort.
