Forged Innovation have developed a game changing decentralised bioenergy system. With rising energy costs and increasing pressure to reduce and even reverse our environmental impact, it is crucial we change our relationship with both consumption and resource utilization. Typically a lot of time, effort and money are spent preparing resources, yet we use them only in singular applications. However, the reality is many resources have a cascading value effect.Low grade wood/biomass is one such example. There are millions of tonnes of this material already in circulation, which either has to undergo drying, incurring significant cost and carbon dioxide emissions or is simply discarded as it is considered of too low a value. Either having not being utilized at all or having being used for a short period of time, but still retaining much of its value. Utilizing this material represents not only a significant reduction in fuel costs but also captures a potential carbon dioxide and methane emitting fraction.Forged Innovations system utilizes lower value feedstocks, such as this, releasing high grade, high value heat, while simultaneously stabilising the carbon in this material. As a result every tonne of material produced captures 2.5-3.5 tonnes of carbon.Meaning that this system not only avoids carbon dioxide emissions being created, it also removes carbon dioxide. Which is critical to our way of life and in reversing the trend of escalating global temperatures.This system utilizes the best available technology and techniques; packaging them at both a scale and cost point never before seen. In order to achieve rapid adoption and scaling of both the system and the benefits.
