Microwave vacuum driers are a class of devices which can efficiently heat materials under vacuum. This project will provide a route to drying graphitic materials using a microwave drier. These materials will be assessed using advanced techniques to examine their properties. Conductive coatings will be produced and tested using these treated materials. The resulting materials will be assessed for their potential use in graphitic battery anode
