This project aims to look at the potential uses of tele-presence robots in older people's care homes which have significant challenges regarding the ability of residents to self-manage symptoms of lifestyle diseases such as dementia and stroke. After exploring needs and understanding the risks within the care home market, the project team will develop a robotic platform, deploy potential solutions and evaluate the systems developed.
