ISAIA-A: Increasing SME access to intangible asset audits

Over $1 trillion worth of intangible assets are currently underexploited by organisations around the world. This is partly caused by the high costs of engaging financial and legal professionals to categorise and value them before identifying next steps for protection and commercial exploitation.In this project, ISAIA-A, Abaton (a new UK legaltech startup) will develop a digital platform that enables SMEs to perform their own intangible asset audits.Abaton will be supported by the University of Strathclyde Business School. Strathclyde's Dr Viktor Dörfler, a Knowledge Engineering specialist, will provide leading advice into the design of a unique interface.The project will benefit from the expertise of legal and financial professionals at leading firms such as Mathys & Squire.
