Accessing business support is a real challenge for people with hidden disabilities. Business support excludes businesses that don't meet the criteria for funded programmes, and who can't afford to pay for consultancy. The alternative is 'self-service' online, but this takes time business owners don't have, it isn't curated, and it doesn't take account of hidden disabilities like ASD, APD, ADHD, Anxiety disorder, Dyslexia or Dyscalculia.UK productivity is stuck in a trough. There are 5.6 million businesses in the UK, but less than half a percent of them get any help to grow their business or improve their productivity. Imagine if every business could quickly and easily learn about the tool or concept they need to solve their problems and unlock their potential. The hairdresser who wants to open their own salon. The family business owner that knows there's a better way to run things but doesn't know how. The company that has heard about digitalisation but doesn't know where to start.Flint Innovation is tackling this problem. We've innovated in our service delivery to SME leaders over the last 3 years, adapting our services to meet the needs of people with hidden mental health disabilities. Our testimonials show what a huge difference this makes to the people we support, but our impact is limited by how many people we can support one-to-one. Now we are ready to take the next step -- 'digitising' what we do one-to-one -- and we're building an inclusive, curated digital toolkit that will take you straight to the tool or concept that will solve your problem, with the information presented in a range of formats to suit your needs. Our toolkit will use AI and a deep understanding of hidden disabilities to overcome the exclusion of people with these disabilities from traditional business support. We plan to deliver this through an app and a website, which will allow us to reach far more businesses than we can at the moment. This is highly innovative - it is the first time anyone has combined AI and business support expertise in a tool designed to meet the needs of people with hidden mental health disabilities. We're Flint Innovation, and we're going to build a toolkit that will give 100,000+ businesses that lightbulb moment that unleashes their growth.
