**Teesside International Airport Hydrogen Refuelling Hub**Element 2 is building a hydrogen refuelling network needed to achieve the UK's zero carbon targets. We will build on our successful hydrogen refuelling operations in Tees Valley, from November 2021 including refuelling Stagecoach bus and Toyota vehiclesWe will use experience with the temporary refuelling site at Teesside International Airport to build a permanent hydrogen refuelling station at the airport. Our station will service future hydrogen commercial vehicles (trucks, vans and passenger vehicles) for public highway use plus airport and airside specific vehicles and equipment, including those adopted by tenants at the airport's Business Park.It will become a refuelling hub and **attract** hydrogen commercial fleet operators. We will **bring** new operators to the area, using our network and relationships with truck manufacturers. It will support the Airports transition to net zero, enabling the Airport to build on its Round 1 use of hydrogen and fuel cell technology. This will improve the Airport's appeal to airlines and other commercial partners, and will enable it, with partners, to develop as an innovation centre, one of first airports in the world to use and demonstrate hydrogen. Our plans include an ICONIC refuelling station building on the industrial heritage of the area and position the Tees Valley as an innovation hub for clean air, zero carbon technologies. Our refuelling station will have a biodiversity net gain through use of local gabion stone, wildflowers and capturing rainwater -- linked to a bio-diversity net gain strategy that the airport is developing with the local planning authority, to support investment across its estate. Our refuelling station will employ people through preparation and construction of the new site, plus ongoing maintenance. The Airport will continue to engage with local education and industry for the use of hydrogen in the industrial and aviation sector. There will be available airport facilities to present education programs focusing on hydrogen, clean energy and engineering for young people.IV Engineering (IVe) will demonstrate vehicle prototypes at our location for at least 6 months. IVe is delivering the next generation of sustainability lights good vehicles. Their first stage is to convert an existing diesel vehicle to zero operational emission hydrogen. We are excited and strongly believe that the Teesside International Airport Hydrogen Refuelling Hub will encourage hydrogen adoption in both the Tees Valley and the UK, helping to meet the UK's zero carbon targets.
IV Engineering(IVe)将在我们的地点展示车辆原型至少6个月。
