The project focuses on integration of hardware-enabled security solutions offered by Trusted Platform Module (TPM 2.0) with blockchain into a simple to use and efficient platform. Both technologies share an elliptic cryptographic curve and provide for strong DevSecOps practices and decentralized access. The secure by design principles lie at the root of the platform, aiming to bring forth the best security possible without users knowing it is there or having to turn it on. With the lurking Quantum threat there is a growing need for strong cryptographic solutions and digital trust guarantees. And the lack of a good introductory information delayed the adoption of trusted computing, as well as made it complex to integrate into new paradigms and keep up with Cybersecurity 4.0 and emerging threats. Hence, opening an opportunity to re-imagine the well-known technologies and make a real difference to the security of the consumer, enterprise and industrial devices, and contribute towards UK's national cyber strategy.
