Bizumi Ltd is developing Cero3, a cutting-edge digital tool designed to help organisations make smart choices when it comes to business travel. Cero3 empowers companies to plan their trips in a way that not only saves money but also aligns with their commitment to environmental sustainability. While acknowledging that minimising business travel is crucial for reducing carbon emissions, the imperative for organisations to sustain global operations, conduct market research, invest in employee development, and serve customers suggests a continued reliance on travel. Indeed, Mintel forecasts a 30% increase in overseas business trips by 2028\. This growth, estimated to contribute an additional 2.2 million tonnes of CO2e from flights alone, underscores the urgency for businesses to adopt environmentally conscious travel planning.Unfortunately, the absence of proactive tools hampers the ability to make informed decisions for minimising environmental impact.Cero3 is a powerful tool that considers personal preferences, ensures compliance with relevant laws like the Companies Act 2006, the Climate Change Act 2008, and the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) 2023, Cero3 can generate detailed sustainability reports and shares information about emissions related to business travel. It is easy to access as part of the Bizumi platform or on its own through a web browser. Event details are input and Cero3 takes care of the rest, simplifying event planning by calculating optimal locations, considering factors like geography and budget. It presents travel options, comparing CO2 emissions, costs, and travel times. Cero3 streamlines booking, generates post-travel reports, and constantly improves based on user feedback, aligning with carbon policies and financial goals for sustainable business travel management.Cero3 stands out with its continuous improvement, refining algorithms based on user feedback for enhanced event recommendations. This not only reduces business travel's carbon footprint but also saves money, enhances sustainability, boosts organizational reputation, and attracts top talent.Designed to make compliance with carbon-based regulations easy, Cero3 positions organisations as sustainable business travel leaders. In a world where such regulations are changing rapidly, Cero3 is a key strategic partner, guiding businesses towards responsible travel management. We've teamed up with UWE Bristol to test Cero3 within their Future Students department. The International Student Recruitment team will use the MVP version of Cero3 for planning overseas trips over a two-week period. Their feedback will be crucial in fine-tuning the tool's design, including its user interface, features, functionality, accuracy, and overall effectiveness.
