英文摘要
Nanowires devices are emerging as ultrasensitive chemical and biosensors and have great potential for the point of care market. There are many techniques to fabricate silicon nanowires (SiNWs) but the high cost of supplying low volumes of sensors using Si manufacturing processes has become a major barrier for commercialization of innovative Si-Nanowire sensors. Inkjet printing solutions of Si-nanowires could provide an economic scalable method to distribute nanowires and fabricate high performance sensor arrays. In this feasibility project we propose to investigate the fabrication of nanosensor arrays using inkjet printed Si-nanowires and measure their performance.
