AAN Medical aims to develop a range of automated, no-touch devices that will apply metereddoses of medication to joints affected by arthritis and similar disorders. This will improvecompliance with medication regimes, as patients with limited dexterity will no longer have toopen fiddly packaging or apply creams etc. This project aims to define the user requirementsfor such a device, the regulatory pathway and the market size. The output will provide aproduct development plan and inform the design and testing of prototypes.
