Make Positive, the UK tech company, is looking to create a Social Business Framework(SBF), based on Salesforce.com’s cloud platform and Web2.0 social technologies. SBF will allow corporates to set up their branded cloud-based corporate social network at 1/5th of the cost of bespoke solutions, 5 times more quickly, and with richer functionality than competing offerings. The SBF will confer many commercial benefits for its corporate users, as it connectsemployees and extends the organisation’s reach to customers, partners, and suppliers in a highly social way. For instance, it will allow greater cross-selling as salespeople will be able to collaborate more effectively and get better access to market information. Moreover, employees will be able to work much more effectively as they will have access to key information in one place. There is a demand for employees to have the same IT experiences that they have within their personal life ( facebook, twitter etc.) as they do at work.SBF provides a feature-rich configurable dashboard that is a one-stop interface to allenterprise applications. As well as providing a single interface for users to access emails, RSS feeds, news stories, messaging solutions, videos etc., it will also contain an “app store” where any business apps, whatever their underlying technology, can be surfaced, using any device. The key innovative feature of the SBF is that it will create an architecture that enables thebringing together of various systems, services, and backend coding languages into a single point of contact. This is a major challenge that has never been done before and will set programming industry standards for integration projects for back-end to front-end solutions. We will create an environment for other developers to leverage our core architecture to build new apps and to integrate them with multiple ERP systems.
