Hodmedod Ltd is a start-up company sourcing and processing British agricultural produce to supply quality new food products to UK – and potentially overseas – retail and catering markets.We are launching a range of dried British beans and peas in November 2012 and are researching both the nutritional qualities of these products and the opportunities for further processed products made with the beans and peas.Developing a UK market for fava beans and other pulses will add value to commodity crops and provide a nutritional and sustainable alternative to the existing retail offering of imported beans and other protein sources such as meat and dairy products.
