My vision is for Cecence to offer a sustainable collection of aerospace interiors 'ecocence', that will provide an eco friendly alternative to current interior products which use materials containing high embodied carbon levels.Having established a position in lightweight seat backs for aerospace interiors using carbon fibre and REACH compliant phenolic resin systems we have focused new and continuing development on sustainable composite materials.This project will develop these ideas further using hemp, flax, and recycled carbon with bio resins, into a range of furniture for economy and business class aerospace interiors. The range will focus on elements which are highly visible to the customer and as such will reinforce the eco friendly message of the airline.An additional focus on the development of sustainable aerospace in-flight carry on items will enable the company to expand to B2C clients in addition to our current B2B base.
