The objective of this doctoral thesis is to provide an examination of the integration of refugees resettled in Wales, with a particular focus on the policies, practices, and limitations. This thesis will present and analyse the EU, UK, and Welsh policies in the areas of resettlement and integration, with a particular focus on the development of the integration approach and practices in Wales. The cases of the EU Member States that practice resettlement with a regular or ad hoc integration programmes will be examined, alongside the UK and the Welsh programmes.
