英文摘要
the approach that will be taken to answer these questions (what the student will actually be doing); My proposed research is premised on two conceptual and empirical aims: to investigate the feasibility and utility of healthcare policies and physical architectures that on one hand promote mental health through patient-centric designs and design responsibility; and on the other through sustainable and thoughtful environmental design embedding regenerative and adaptive reuse/preservation strategies. The main aim of this research is to enrich evidence on the health benefits of patient-centric infrastructures and policies. To achieve this, the study will advance and interrogate the concept of Sustainable and Responsible Innovation in Mental Health (SRIMH), as a viable option for more inclusive mental healthcare policy agendas and healthcare infrastructures. the novel engineering and/or physical sciences content of the research; Specifically; the study will explore the operational realities and tensions between policies, physical infrastructures, actors that promote or inhibit the adoption of a Sustainable and Responsible Innovation in Mental Health approach; and how certain policies, physical infrastructures, actors lock-in individuals into fragmentary mental health treatment as opposed to encouraging patient-centred physical infrastructures that ensures individuals return to maximum independence following illness.
