The research articulate the extent to which a digital twin can, 1) provide insight into situation awareness and 2) mitigate the impact of industrial accidents or security and operational incidents on major maritime ports. It aims to develop synthetic data model utilising real-time data to monitor and discover the irregularity of the infrastructure, especially those with scarce data. The digital model will conduct retrospective analysis using the data fusion methods to review previous incidents to acquire insights for policy maker to adopt proactive strategies and response.mingyuzhu.net
