英文摘要
My research explores histories of art, religion, and gender in eighteenth-century Paris. I investigate the role of women - as subjects, printmakers, distributors, advocates, and consumers - in non-conformist religious groups and identify the extent of their influence as catalysts for provoking socio-religious change. I am specifically interested in engravings produced during France's religious polemics concerning Jansenists, Convulsionaries, other Catholic factions, and secular institutions where women were often left out of public discourse. Her research interests include eighteenth-century art, printmaking, social history, feminist art history, and women's studies.
