英文摘要
The proposed research aims to assess the indirect impacts of COVID-19 on sexual and reproductive health (SRH) of women and to understand how changes in polices and services have affected the SRH of women in Wales. Specific research questions are: How has COVID-19 indirectly impacted pregnancy, pregnancy outcomes, maternal, postnatal, and neonatal health including the choices pregnant women and those planning on conceiving have made during the pandemic? How has COVID-19 indirectly impacted access to and use of contraception, unintended pregnancies and abortion? What are the socio-economic and demographic determinants associated with negative SRH outcomes prior to and during the pandemic?Data will be accessed through the Secure Anonymised Information Linkage Databank, which holds maternity, primary and secondary care data and demographic information - all available prior to and during the pandemic. Interviews / focus groups will be conducted with women accessing the gynaecology/obstetrics departments within Swansea Bay University Heath Board.
