The project will focus on development of instrumentation to measure the acceleration of electrons at AWAKE Run 2. This will involve upgrading the spectrometer system to cope with high energy electrons and the possibility to measure the beam emittance with the spectrometer. Other methods to measure the emittance will also be investigated. The instrumentation will be developed, tested, installed and calibrated. First electron data may be possible.
