英文摘要
"Ischaemia reperfusion injury (IRI) is associated with serious clinical manifestations including myocardial infarction, stroke and transplant rejection. Despite advances in understanding IRI pathogenesis, the translation of findings into clinically applicable therapies has been disappointing.Oxidative stress associated with IRI induces expression of inflammatory chemokines as well as their posttranslational modifications. This affects chemokine interactions with G protein-coupled receptors and glycosaminoglycans, biological potency of chemokines, or even generates functional antagonists. Therefore, assessing the structural and functional consequences of post-translational modifications of chemokines is crucial to develop new therapies."
