英文摘要
The project aims to leverage advancements in automation and computational methods to investigate several fundamental questions of phage biology and protein binders. This is envisioned to be a highly interdisciplinary project where automation and insights into molecular biology will allow the production of a large amount of high-quality data from which several important biological insights can be extracted. The biological insights will be in the realms of fundamental phage biology, evolutionary theory, and protein biophysics. We believe those insights will have a broad range of applications in fields such as phage therapy, protein engineering and directed evolution.BBSRC priority areas:- Understanding the rules of life- Transformative technologies
