Proteins and DNA are responsible for most functions and dysfunction in living organisms. There is great interest in understanding how DNA is regulated by proteins and when dysfunction of these proteins leads to disease. To gain a better understanding of how certain proteins bind and manipulate DNA, we will use a combination of soft matter experimental methods and machine learning approaches to study this in detail.
