In this project imaging of the pre-ceramic polymer SMP-10 will be conducted as it undergoes pyrolysis. This will be used to fully understand the changes the polymer experiences structurally as it forms to a ceramic. Furthered work will be done by changing variables to see how this effects the process. The aim is to understand what happen during the pyrolysis process and find ways to improve the mass yield of the final product through that knowledge
