英文摘要
With the increased frequency and magnitude of extreme environmental events in recent years, one of the priority areas for the critical infrastructure asset owner and managers is to provide a climate change resilient infrastructure system. Climate change projections are often presented as changes in temperature and precipitation level; however, their impact on energy infrastructures/assets during their lifetime is often oversimplified. Hence there is a significant gap in the existing converting mechanism to translate climate data to infrastructure loading demand. Additionally, the assessment of climate change on structures and infrastructures is generally conducted in silos, either with over-generalisation or bespoke assessment for a certain type of asset without considering the impact on dependent/interdependent assets. This project will evaluate and formulate climate change impact on loading/actions on energy infrastructure (e.g. wind turbine towers) as a function of different climate projection scenarios
